McCann early footage?

I know its old hat, but just watched the "Madeleine" piece on sky news, showing old footage. How could anybody have a piece written on paper, as Mr McC had, literally minutes(hours?) after a precious child went missing and even remembering to bring a flash light. ( to take focus away from facial expression?) Could you be this organised under the cirstance?
