What do women appreciate a man doing for her?

Don't get me wrong, I love the fancy dinners at a nice restaurant and the other grand gestures but I could cheerfully do without them. It's the little things that matter that I would really miss if he stopped doing them. He will buy me a bunch of $5.00 flowers from the supermarket for no reason. When he sees I'm looking tired he'll take over and cook dinner and do the dishes afterwards. He'll call me in the middle of the day just to say hello and tell me he loves me. Those beautiful, simple things show me how much he cares.
