What are the benefits of joining or not joining fraternities/sororities?
social sororities are different from school on-campus sororities but both are for sisterhood purposes, sisters to rely on, sisters to talk with about anything, sisters to go places with. On-campus sororities are like going to dances together, exchanging party clothes with your sisters, it's about getting pinned because your sorority is friendly with some fraternity brothers, and it's about networking and careers and high employment and the opportunity of your daughter being accepted easier into society, their high societal life, their donations to a college and so easier (application and) entrance to that particular school if the determination comes down to two candidates, and their coming out parties and abilities to marry a rich guy. There are several different kinds of sororities and it's not that you can join, you apply and then they determine if they want you in that sorority and they determine if you fit in as far as interests and majors are concerned (as in if they are more in marketing and you have no interest in marketing then you won't get in). In social sororities you just join and pay your dues.
