Is it true that many people do not appreciate Scorpios ability to survive?

Do you think it is true that many people do not seem to appreciate Scorpios survival instincts, through all they go through and do for others in their lifes and then they realise that they had to have been doing it all for themselves even though it all. It shold be appreciated by others. It goes unnoticed and underappreciated by people all around.
