If the government is bailing out the businesses that created this sham, why not the people?

I do not think the govt. is bailing anyone out,I think the bank's and other mortage co's are helping. The people were lead to believe they could afford the homes, and then the Ba$tards went behind their backs and pulled a fast one, some companies(lending tree.com) were giving loans out to aliens with no SS#'s and when the loans were called in, they couldn't pay, but someone got their down-payments!!
