Cat in carrier for one day outside in the heat?

Thanks for taking care of this kitten. Can you contact the shelter and see if you could bring him in today as you have nowhere to keep him? If not can find a shaded spot that is protected? If you have to keep him today give him plenty of water, feed him and provide litter. I think he would be ok with some attention.
