Did the word "ay" in Filipino (Tagalog) come from the Spanish "hay"?

For sentences like: "Yung baso ko ay na sa lamesa." / "Ay Diyos ko po!" There seems to be a relationship with "ay" having the same meaning as Spanish "hay" for "there is." For the first sentence, it means: "My cup is on the table." "Yung" brings attention to the cup, "baso," and "ko" reveals ownership. "Na sa lamesa" translates to "on the table." Would "ay" then mean "is?"
